Directions For Using Antinausea Wrist Bands

Wristbands can greatly aid travelers with motion sickness.

Antinausea wristbands are a viable method for preventing motion sickness during travel. These wristbands are a good alternative to antinausea medications such as Dramamine as they have little to no side effects. One wristband is worn on each wrist. The wristbands work by pressing against a pressure point on your wrist that prevents nausea.

Instructions

Find Your Pressure Point

1. Find the correct pressure point for your antinausea wristband by turning the inside of your right wrist toward you.

2. Measure up the arm using your left hand to find the exact pressure point spot. Place the ring finger of your left hand onto the middle base of the inside of your right wrist.

3. Position your middle and index fingers next to your ring finger.

4. Locate the appropriate pressure point. This point will be the next position just after your index finger and between two tendons on your right wrist.

5. Remember this pressure point location when positioning your antinausea wristbands.

Positioning the Antinausea Wristbands

6. Place the first wristband over your right hand and wrist.

7. Locate the pressure ball on the wristband.

8. Position the pressure ball over the pressure point on the inside of your right wrist.

9. Secure comfortably, making sure there are no twists or wrinkles in the antinausea wristband.

10. Repeat the process for your left wrist.
