Animals
Foam shapes can be put together to form simple animals. Experiment with shapes and see what you create. A large circle can become a face when you add a nose, mouth and eyes. The foam can be used as ornaments, decorations or gift tags. Punch a hole in the top of the shape, add a ribbon and it’s ready to hang in a window or tie on a package.
Pencil Case or Envelope
Sheets of craft foam can be transformed into a pencil case or gift envelope in just a few steps. Cut two pieces of foam the same size. Holding the pieces together, punch holes every one to two inches apart around three sides of the shape. Using colorful yarn, sew the pieces together, leaving the fourth side open, to form a pouch.
