Do A 3 Day Juice Fast

do a 3 Day Juice Fast

Americans eat way too much fat, way too much sugar, and way too much protein. In fact, Americans simply eat too much of everything. The way out of this dilemma is so easy that we usually miss it: consider occasionally fasting. Here is a simple 3 Day Juice fast, great for detox, weight loss, and general refocusing. Enjoy!

Instructions

1. Three days before your fast, try and eat less protein and more vegetable. Consider replacing lunch and dinner with salads. This will help shrink your stomach and make fasting easier. Now while the steps are divided into meals, if you get hungry in between you can have -more juice! Part of the fast means drinking as much juice as possible. I've listed some other organic juices on other articles, feel free and mix-n-match.

2. Breakfast Juice.

Carrot juice is very high in pro-vitamin A or carotene and is completely nontoxic -so you can drink as much carrot juice as possible. Here is my favorite recipe for Carrot Peach Juice. If you don't like peaches just substitute the fruit that you do like.

Carrot Peach Juice

6 Fresh Carrots

2 Peaches

Peaches are rather fuzzy on the outside, and therefor we recommend that you peel the skin off of them before you begin juicing. Obviously you be deseeding the peaches as well. Place the all ingredients in your juicer. Enjoy!

3. Lunch Juice

Pineapple is a great source of Vitamin B1 and Vitamin C. Once again if your not crazy about apricots substitute another fruit.

Pineapple Apricot Juice

Ingredients:

1 Whole Pineapple

6 Apricots

Serving Size:

Produces 2 Servings

Instructions:

Juice one whole pineapple without the outer skin, and 6 ripe apricots. Apricots have lots of beta carotene for your body.

4. Celery is high in magnesium, iron and chlorophyll, which is an excellent blood builder and is one of the richest sources of organic sodium. It mixes well with tomatoes and lettuce juices.

Celery/ Wheatgrass Juice

1 shot wheatgrass

2 sticks celery

Handful of parsley

Put all ingredients into a juice one at a time. Enjoy!
