Download music using iTunes


The iTunes software does more than just hold music files saved in folders on your computer. The program is also utilized to download music files. These songs can be played with the iTunes audio player, or even transferred onto different iPods you have purchased. Buying albums from the iTunes Store can be cheaper than spending money at a conventional music store. Doing so also lets you acquire new music without leaving the couch.


Instructions


1. Open iTunes.


2. Click the "iTunes Store" option that's located inside the left column of the program. The program will access the iTunes Store, which will open in the middle of iTunes.


3. Click the arrow inside of the "Music" tab at the top of iTunes. A menu will open beneath the "Music" tab.


4. Choose one of the music categories inside the menu. Songs and albums inside the category will be listed in iTunes.


5. Click the song or album you want to download. The album will appear inside the iTunes Store. If you clicked a song title, the album that the song is on will open inside the iTunes Store.


6. Click the "Buy" or "Free" button to the right of the iTunes song. To download the entire music album, click the "Buy Album" or "Download Album" button located beneath the album title. A box will appear.


7. Type your iTunes Store account email and password inside the box.


8. Click "Download" in the box. The iTunes music will be downloaded. If the music wasn't free, your account will be charged the price for the song or album.
