There are many options when deciding on taking a cruise. Most cruise lines offer some of the basic ship amenities and activities. But there are some differences that might sway you one way or another. Celebrity and Princess Cruise Lines are just two of many cruises from which to choose.


Celebrity Destinations


Celebrity Cruise Lines offers destinations to Alaska, the Bahamas, Bermuda, Canada and the New England area of the United States, the Caribbean, Europe, Galapagos, the coastal Pacific, the Panama Canal and South America.


Princess Destinations


The Princess Cruise Line features destinations to Alaska, Asia, Australia and New Zealand, Canada and New England, the Caribbean, Europe, Hawaii, Tahiti, the South Pacific, the Mexican Riviera, the Panama Canal and South America.


Celebrity Dining


In August 2009, Celebrity Cruise Line began offering flexible dining options. The cruise line now has pre-cruise, day-by-day reservations available to passengers. However, dinner times are limited to between 6 and 9:30 p.m.


Princess Dining


Princess Cruise Lines allows its passengers the freedom to choose formal dining or casual dining. There are no specific times for casual dining, and there is more than one casual restaurant on board. However, reservations and formal attire are required in the main dining room.


Fleets


Celebrity Cruise Lines comprises 10 ships that are categorized into classes. The Century Class ships are the newest. Princess Cruise Lines comprises 18 ships. Four of these ships called the Small Ships of Princess and are smaller in size for a more intimate, relaxed setting.
