Car shows offer diverse people who do not know each other, but who all share a common appreciation and admiration of cars, a chance to unite, enjoy and discuss the many unique and attractive cars presented at the show. If you are a car enthusiast in the Cincinnati area, you may be interested to learn of the various car shows held in Cincinnati.
Annual Koi Auto Parts Cavalcade of Customs
The Annual Auto Parts Calvalcade of Customs show is held in early January in Cincinnati at the Duke Energy Center. The Calvalcade of Customs show features creative custom cars, vintage hot rods and appealing motorcycles. The show also often includes numerous special guests, including the Phil Remington Roadster, Miss Cavalcade and Jenette McCurdy (from TV's "iCarly"), as well as special guest cars such as 6 Pack and Downtown Brown. The price for general admission, as of 2011, is $15 for adults and $5 for children ages six through 12, but you can save a few dollars by buying your tickets at some local auto parts stores which offer discounts.
Cincinnati Auto Expo
The Cincinnati Auto Expo is an annual event where the automotive industry displays many new cars, SUVs, trucks, crossovers and hybrids they recently developed. Every year, this weekend-long show is held at the Duke Energy Convention Center in February, and in addition to presenting new cars, the automobile companies also provide knowledgeable product specialists and dealer representatives to answer any questions prospective buyers might have.
Trunk R Treat
Every year in October, the Annual Trunk R Treat car show comes to Cincinnati for a Halloween car show bash at Beech Acres Park. All owners of custom cars or hot rods are encouraged to come dressed in Halloween costumes and with the trunks of their cars adorned with Halloween decorations and candy so that kids, car lovers and families can "trunk R treat" while checking out cars. As of 2011, the entry fee is $15 per car and all cars must be registered by October 1.
