The Rose Parade route starts at the intersection of Green Street and Orange Grove Boulevard in Pasadena, California, and travels north on Orange Grove to Colorado Boulevard. At the intersection of Orange Grove and Colorado, the parade will turn east. It follows Colorado until Sierra Madre Boulevard, where it will turn north again until it ends at Villa Street. There are a select number of hotels available directly on the parade route.
Saga Motor Hotel
The pet-friendly Saga Motor Hotel is located between Orange Grove and Sierra Madre Boulevard on Colorado Street. This ideal location on the Rose Parade route makes it ideal for college football fans: The annual Rose Bowl Game takes place at the nearby stadium. The Saga Motor Hotel is located near the Norton Simon Museum and the Descanso Gardens, which features 80 acres of flower gardens as well as a bird sanctuary and lake. The hotel is located near the historic downtown part of Pasadena. Travelers to the area can dine at nearby Roscoe's House of Chicken or the Stoney Point Bar and Grill.
Westway Inn
At the Westway Inn, guests are located directly on Colorado Street on the Rose Parade route and can choose between standard rooms or a business traveler's suite. The suites feature extra amenities such as a separate living area and kitchen. The Westway Inn is a short drive from the Hollywood Walk of Fame and the Los Angeles Zoo. Closer attractions include the Heritage Square Museum and the Huntington Library. Select restaurants are located within walking distance, including Dino's Italian Restaurant and Cameron's Seafood.
Travelodge
The Travelodge hotel is located on the 2100 block of Colorado Street, set on the route. Visitors to the Travelodge can enjoy a short ride to the Rose Bowl game as well as local golf courses, including the Brookside Golf Course. Visitors can also visit the Santa Anita Race Track or the legendary Fenyes Mansion during their stay. A complimentary breakfast is served daily, although there are numerous nearby restaurants. Local dining options include The Boiling Pot Shabu Shabu and Hurry Curry of Tokyo.
