How Should I Store Meridia

Store Meridia in the bottle it came in, if possible.

Meridia, or Sibutramine hydrochloride monohydrate, is a weight-loss drug that curbs your appetite and works in conjunction with a low-calorie diet plan. The drug helps in controlling hunger but does have side effects, including an increase in your heart rate and blood pressure. You should not take Meridia if your blood pressure is not well controlled. And like with other diet drugs, you should consult with your doctor before taking Meridia. It is important to properly store the drug to keep its potency intact.

Instructions

1. Store Meridia in the bottle it came in or in a container that has a lid. The container needs to close tightly to keep air and moisture from affecting the medicine's potency.

2. Place the bottle or container in a room that is at 77 degrees Fahrenheit away from heat, moisture and light. Do not store the capsules in an area where children or pets can access them.

3. Store Meridia only briefly in a room that is between 59 and 86 degrees Fahrenheit if your home or business's heating and cooling system is currently off or trying to reach 77 degrees Fahrenheit.

Do not store Meridia in your bathroom or any other room where the temperature and moisture level is constantly changing.
